Ellis Elevated Experiences - Master Terms & Conditions
These Master Terms & Conditions outline the professional relationship between Ellis Elevated Experiences and its clients, including advisory services, booking authorization, payment terms, and important information related to travel planning and arrangements.

PURPOSE OF THIS AGREEMENT
These Master Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between you (“Client” or “you”) and Robert Ellis, a sole proprietor doing business as Ellis Elevated Experiences, an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. (“Ellis Elevated Experiences,” “Travel Advisor,” “we,” or “us”).
This Agreement is intended to provide clarity, transparency, and efficiency by consolidating all advisory, booking, payment, and authorization terms into a single document.
1. INDEPENDENT TRAVEL ADVISOR & HOST AGENCY
Ellis Elevated Experiences operates as an independent travel advisory business affiliated with Fora Travel, Inc. (“Fora”), which serves as a host agency and technology provider.
Client understands and agrees that:
• Ellis Elevated Experiences operates independently and is not an employee, agent, or representative of Fora;
• Fora is not a travel service provider and does not fulfill travel services;
• Fora is not a party to this Agreement; and
• Ellis Elevated Experiences operates under Fora’s Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance policy, where applicable.
2. SCOPE OF ADVISORY SERVICES
Ellis Elevated Experiences provides professional travel advisory, planning, and booking coordination services, which may include research, itinerary design, supplier recommendations, booking facilitation, and ongoing support.
Ellis Elevated Experiences does not own, operate, or control airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, or other travel suppliers.
3. PLANNING & SERVICE FEES
Planning or service fees may apply and will be disclosed prior to work beginning. These fees compensate for professional time, expertise, research, and advisory services and are 100% non-refundable, regardless of whether travel is ultimately booked.
4. BOOKING AUTHORIZATION & CONSENT
By signing this Agreement, Client expressly authorizes Ellis Elevated Experiences to:
• Act on Client’s behalf to research, recommend, and book travel arrangements;
• Proceed with bookings based on written, electronic, or verbal approval, including approvals provided via email, messaging platforms, client portals, or other documented communications; and
• Rely on Client approvals of itineraries, proposals, quotes, or invoices as authorization to proceed.
Client understands that once approval is provided and booking begins, supplier cancellation, modification, or penalty policies apply.
5. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Client authorizes charges to Client’s approved payment method for:
• Supplier deposits, final payments, taxes, and fees;
• Supplier-imposed change or cancellation penalties; and
• Any additional charges expressly approved by Client.
Payments may be made directly to suppliers or processed through Fora on behalf of a supplier, where applicable. Client certifies that they are an authorized user of any payment method provided.
6. SUPPLIER RESPONSIBILITY & THIRD-PARTY TERMS
All travel services are provided by independent third-party suppliers, each of which is solely responsible for fulfillment of travel services.
Client agrees that:
• Supplier terms, conditions, cancellation policies, and refund rules apply to each booking;
• Approval of any booking constitutes acceptance of applicable supplier terms, whether or not separately signed; and
• Ellis Elevated Experiences is not responsible for supplier acts, omissions, delays, service failures, or changes.
7. CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES & REFUNDS
All bookings are subject to supplier cancellation and refund policies. Ellis Elevated Experiences does not control supplier decisions regarding refunds or credits.
Client is responsible for all penalties, fees, or losses resulting from cancellations, changes, or no-shows.
8. CREDIT CARD DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS
Client agrees to notify Ellis Elevated Experiences promptly of any concerns and allow a reasonable opportunity to assist in resolving issues with the responsible supplier before initiating a chargeback.
Client agrees not to initiate chargebacks for authorized transactions and acknowledges that unauthorized chargebacks may constitute a breach of this Agreement.
9. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is not included unless purchased separately. Without appropriate insurance, Client assumes the risk of financial loss due to cancellations, interruptions, delays, medical emergencies, or force majeure events.
10. PASSPORTS, DOCUMENTATION & TRAVEL RISKS
Client is solely responsible for ensuring proper travel documentation, including passports, visas, and entry requirements.
Client acknowledges that travel involves inherent risks, including health, safety, and geopolitical risks, and voluntarily assumes such risks by participating in travel.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & FORCE MAJEURE
Ellis Elevated Experiences is not liable for personal injury, property damage, delays, cancellations, or losses arising from acts or omissions of third-party suppliers or events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or labor disruptions.
Any recovery against Ellis Elevated Experiences shall be limited to the amount of commission or fees actually received for the applicable booking.
12. GOVERNING LAW & GENERAL PROVISIONS
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Any claim must be brought within 12 months of trip completion. Client waives the right to participate in class or representative actions.
If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties.
ACCEPTANCE
By electronically accepting or signing below, Client acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to these Master Terms & Conditions. Electronic acceptance constitutes a legally binding agreement.
